Linah Coffee

In this study, the goal was to create a coffee company name, identity, and three packages that incorporated that identity. The brand I created is an Arabica coffee company called Linah, the Arabic word for passion. The three packages include a whole bean product, pre-ground product, and an iced coffee beverage.

Stockyard Online Magazine
issue covers designs

These designs were created for Stockyard Online Magazine. The magazine featured stories and articles directed toward a 20-30 year old demographic. Each issue's stories had a common theme, and were often meant to be humorous. These are three online "cover" designs created for three separate issues. An "Independence" theme, a "summer time love" theme, and a "travel" theme.

Fumare Lounge is a hookah lounge located in the Chicago suburb of Schaumburg, IL. They are committed to bringing their customers the finest quality of tobacco, along with providing a hip and modern lounge to relax in with friends. how HOW Design Conference 2009
identity and brochure study

The HOW Design Conference is an event run every year by HOW Design Magazine. For this study, the goal was to create a logo/identity that could be used for the theme of the conference. In addition to the identity, I also created a mailable brochure that would be sent to all people who signed up to attend the conference. The brochure is a gated fold piece that slides into a brightly colored envelope sleeve that cannot be missed in your mailbox.

tomex Tomex Publishing
freelance client

Tomex publishing is a new publishing company started by Wendy Posey. When approached for the identity of her new company, she wanted a logo that looked professional, but also incorporated a reference to her curly hair. The name "Tomex" is a combination of her two children's names. After the logo, I was also given the task of designing her stationary system. After designing the Tomex identity, Wendy also hired me to design the sleeve for her book, "If you do nothing, you'll die." A book about her experiences as a caretaker when her husband suffered from severe dementia.

onlyjuice

Only Juice
brand identity study

The goal of creating Only Juice was to create a brand of juice who's main focus was that their products contain no additives or preservatives. Their product contains "only juice." The target market are the young to middle aged health conscious consumers. The main goal of the study was to create an identity that would emphasize the fact that there is nothing but juice in their product by using simple and minimal designs, but also let the brand stand out and not get confused with other health fruit juice brands. The examples you see are promotional posters that could be used in stores or cafes that carry Only Juice. You can also see the prototype packages.
